Our Throwback Thursday Christmas Edition was inspired by a conversation I had with someone yesterday about the Christmas and holiday season. Legendary Charlie Daniels Receives Humanitarian Award From Rare Country

The annual Charlie Daniels Birthday Volunteer Jam is always a rewarding event. This year’s 80th Birthday Party went up a big notch as the legend was awarded the first-ever Rare Country Humanitarian of the Year Award.  The event was held last night at the Bridgestone Arena.  Surprise guests country icon Randy Travis, General Keith Huber and Rare Country’s Hunter Kelly presented the award to Charlie during the Jam, honoring his commitment to veterans via “The Journey Home Project.” ... read more!
