This week, we have a triple shot that perfectly fits both ideas I had for this feature – they are three songs with the same theme & idea and also all have the exact same title, “Let It Go”. The Academy of Country Music brings their big guns to Vegas yearly for not only the awards show but so much more. In 2009 legendary artist George Strait was honored as the Artist of the Decade at a star studded show that included Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and more. A busy time in Country music with new album sales adding up. Don Henley is a name some may not be familiar with, but if you have ever heard an Eagles song you have heard of Don Henley. The Capitol recording artist has reached #1 album sales status on both the all-genre and country album charts with his debut release of “Cass County.” This is Henley’s first studio album in 15 years as well as his first time he has been classified among country albums. “Cass Country,” has chalked up 87,000 in pure album sales according to Nielsen Music. ... read more!
