Talent and beauty go hand in hand with Tenille Arts. She caught my attention last year at the time she released, “Wildfire and Whiskey” and I slighted myself in not paying attention sooner. Her music has tallied over five million streams, so you know she has a gift.
Hailing from the small, Canadian prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Tenille started her musical journey as young as age eight. Working hard, honing her vocals and songwriting skills brought her far along on her dream career. She landed a publishing deal in Nashville and in 2016 her self-titled EP peaked at #1 on the iTunes Canada Country Album Chart as well as crashed through the top 100 on the U.S. iTunes Country Album Chart.
Along with her talent, Tenille has a giving heart. The Reviver Records artist took some time off of her radio tour in June to head home to spend time with family and perform at the “Night Out for Cystic Fibrosis.” Over $22,000 was raised at the 10th annual event which she has been involved in for all 10. In 2015 she recorded the hit song, “Breathe,” with all proceeds raised through the single benefiting CF Canada.
I could go on and on praising Tenille and sharing her career and accolades, but for a better look into what she has been accomplishing and the highlights of her career, I will let her do the talking. I was so glad to catch up during CMA Fest, she added another bright spot.
