53rd Annual ACM Nominees Announced And Welcome Back Reba As The Host

The morning of March 1st was filled with anticipation by fans waiting to learn of the nominees for the 53rd Annual ACM Awards. Chris Stapleton was revealed as this year’s frontrunner with a total of eight nominations, with Thomas Rhett following close behind at six nominations. Keith Urban and songwriter Shane McAnally received five nods each.

Some of the usual names were revealed and some surprises. Many fans, as usual feel some of their favorites were snubbed and we all view the industry differently, but all nominees have worked hard and had a successful year. For some of the young guns and new artists nominees, dreams do come true.

Over shadowing a bit was the announcement of Reba returning as the “new” host of the show. Her reign as the previous host lasted many years, part of those years shared with Vince Gill. Those two were quite a great pair. Already a 16-time ACM Award winner, Reba also received a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year.

We congratulate all the nominees and wish them all luck. Vegas goes country with Party For a Cause events and more, the town is full of fun. One never knows what will happen and who you may run in to. We love it. For the list of all the nominees head over to www.acmcountry.com/noms
