New Opry Member Crystal Gayle Featured In Throwback Thursday

Our Throwback Thursday song today is Crystal Gayle’s “Talking in Your Sleep.” This hit was released in January 1978 as the first single from her album “When I Dream.” The song reached at No. 1 on the US Country chart and No. 3 at the Adult Contemporary chart and was written by Roger Cook and Bobby Wood.

Crystal has been busy lately. She was inducted into the Opry by her sister, country music legend Loretta Lynn, after Carrie Underwood surprised her in November with an invite to join the Opry. Carrie asked Crystal if she would “like to join the Opry family officially” after the duo performed her classic “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.”

Crystal was also recently on an episode of “The Big Interview with Dan Rather.” It was a very interesting conversation and is playing in replays still on AXS TV

I hope you will check in next Thursday for a Throwback Song that some girls will definitely like.
