The ACM Festivities continued Saturday, April 1st. Charles Kelley, of multi-platinum trio Lady Antebellum and eleven-time ACM Award winner, hosted the ACM Lifting Lives® Golf Classic.
Additionally, country music artists Colt Ford, Tracy Lawrence, Scotty McCreery, Eric Paslay and Cole Swindell participated in the tournament. Held for the sixth consecutive year at TPC Las Vegas, the “scramble” style golf tournament raised funds and awareness for the ACM Lifting Lives’ Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, which provides immediate relief to those in need within the music industry.
There were even more events on Saturday, April 1, when the Academy of Country Music® hosted the third day of the 5th ACM Party for a Cause®, which consists of eighteen events across thirteen venues in Las Vegas featuring performances by over eighty artists during The Week Vegas Goes Country®.
Earlier this evening Florida Georgia Line was surprised onstage when it was announced that they had won two ACM Awards (off camera categories) for Vocal Event of the Year (“May We All” – Florida Georgia Line featuring Tim McGraw) and ACM Single Record of the Year (“H.O.L.Y.” – Florida Georgia Line). ACM CEO Pete Fisher presented Florida Georgia Line with the Awards at the ACM Party for a Cause: WME Bash at the Beach event.
The GO Pool at Flamingo Las Vegas was live all day for the ACM Pool Party for a Cause Presented by MillerCoors with performances by Old Dominion, Jerrod Niemann, Jackie Lee and Dee Jay Silver.n Lee Brice took the stage, surprising the crowd with a duet performance during Jerrod Niemann’s set.
House of Blues, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino was the scene of a kick back party with Lauren Alaina, Billy Currington, Dan + Shay, Seth Ennis and hosted by Storme Warren. Stoney’s Rockin’ Country hosted an evening with Lucas Hoge, and Stephanie Quayle.
Lady Antebellum, Kip Moore, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Paslay, Brett Young, Ryan Hurd, Drew Baldridge, and HISH performed at ACM Party for a Cause: The Joint, hosted by Bobby Bones with Crook and Chase. Rounding the night out was a crazy time at John Rich’s Red Neck Riviera with Adam Craig, John Rich, Clay Walker.
This was a packed day for us and many fans. Was able to catch some great music, meet some really kicked back artists and make some memories leading up to the big event on Sunday. I don’t think we will wind down till Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Ha !!
