ACM Awards and ACM Party For A Cause Have Officially Taken Over In Las Vegas

Vegas goes Country is on a roll. On Thursday, the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards™ celebrations officially kicked off with a Press Conference with this year’s hosts Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, followed by a Dice Rollout in front of the T-Mobile Arena with the show’s producers and executives Barry Adelman, Executive Producer; R.A. Clark, Executive Producer; Pete Fisher, CEO of the Academy of Country Music; and Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, CBS Specials, Music and Live Events.

During the press conference, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley revealed that they will be performing a special collaboration with an icon to honor an icon to open the show.

Also on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31, the Academy of Country Music® kicked off the 5th ACM Party for a Cause®. This year, ACM Party for a Cause will consist of eighteen events across thirteen venues in Las Vegas featuring performances by over eighty artists during The Week Vegas Goes Country®.

The parties were plenty and the music was on point.  95.5 The Bull held their 9th Annual Guitar Pull at the Red Rock Ballroom on the 30th with artist Lauren Alaina, Jon Pardi, Darius Rucker, and Chris Stapleton. On the same night, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country hosted the Swon Brothers with Midland, Michael Ray and surprise guest Thomas Rhett.

Friday the 31st was not short on more parties and rockin’ music. LOCASH with Ryan Follese and Michael Tyler held court at House of Blues, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Also, day one of the WME Bash at the Beach was held at Mandalay Bay Beach, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Performers: Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Brothers Osborne, Big & Rich, Maddie & Tae, Brett Young, William Michael Morgan, and Dee Jay Silver.

We were fortunate to attend the inaugural Songwriter Showcase presented by AIMP at The Pearl in the Palms Casino Resort hosted by Sirius XM’s Storme Warren. Performers were Ross Copperman, Luke Dick, Ashley Gorley, Matthew Jenkins, Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna, Josh Osborne with Matthew Ramsey and Trevor Rosen of Old Dominion. This was a special night for us, the respect and understanding we have gained from these songwriters cannot be denied. They have penned hits for Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and more. Surprise guests included Brandy Clark, Dierks Bentley, CAM, Den Dillon and Miranda Lambert. Additional Attendees: Anderson East, Todd Chrisley.

The evening continued with a kick up party at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Harrah’s casino with Lindsay Ell, Ryan Kinder as well as a party at Virgil’s Real BBQ at The LINQ Promenade. Performers were Bailey Bryan, Kenny Foster and Morgan Wallen. Rounding out the night was the Barnival Songwriter Showcase at the Mizuya Lounge in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The talent there was off the hook with Scooter Carusoe, Brent Cobb, Aubrie Sellers, Hailey Whitters.

Are you tired yet?  This year fans could pick and choose their destinations and each event had something for everyone with no shortage of party goers. Now on to the fourth day to see what we can get in to next.
