Tim McGraw, Joe Diffie, Blake Shelton Featured In Triple-Shot Tuesday

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, so here are three songs about the lucky color green or ones that make you green with envy.

Tim McGraw’s “Where the Green Grass Grows” was written by Craig Wiseman and Jess Leary. It was released in July 1998 as the fifth single from Tim’s “Everywhere” album. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

Joe Diffie’s “John Deere Green” was written by Dennis Linde. It was released in November 1993 as the third single from his album “Honky Tonk Attitude.” The song peaked at No. 5 on the country charts.

Blake Shelton’s “Green” was written by George Teren and Craig Wiseman.  It’s on his most recent album “If I’m Honest” and was also on his fifth studio album, “Startin’ Fires” in 2008.  The song is not one that has been released as a single to radio.

I hope you’ll swing by next Tuesday for a Triple Shot that’s a real homerun.
