Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks Featured In Triple-Shot Tuesday

We’ve covered a few different emotions involving love and Valentine’s Day this month. Our Triple Shot today wraps up the month pretty well I think. Whatever place you are in, somehow you have to trust that it is where you need to be at this moment and will lead to where you belong.

Darius Rucker’s “This” was released in November 2010 as the second single from his album “Charleston, SC 1966.”  It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in April 2011. Darius wrote it with Frank Rogers and Kara DioGuardi.

Rascal Flatts’  “Bless the Broken Road” was written by singer-songwriter Marcus Hummon, Jeff Hanna (of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) and Bobby Boyd. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band first recorded it for their 1994 album “Acoustic.” Rascal Flatts cut the song for their “Feels Like Today” album. It was released in November 2004 and their version spent five weeks at No.1 on the Hot Country Singles chart. The hit also won a Grammy Award for Best Country Song.

Garth Brooks’ “Unanswered Prayers” was released in October 1990 as the second single from his album “No Fences.” It was written by Garth, Pat Alger and Larry Bastian. The massive hit reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

I hope you’ll spend some of your time here next Tuesday for another Triple Shot.
