Collin Raye’s “I Want You Bad (And That Ain’t Good)” was written by Jackson Leap. It was released in November 1992 as the second single from Collin’s album “In This Life.” The song reached No. 7 on the Billboard Country chart.
Blackhawk’s “I’m Not Strong Enough to Say No” was written by Robert John “Mutt” Lange (better known as Shania Twain’s ex-husband). The song was released in July 1995 as the lead single from their album “Strong Enough.” It peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
Aaron Tippin’s “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You” was written by Sally Dworsky, Paul Jefferson, and Jan Leyers. It was released in August 1995 as the lead single from Aaron’s album “Tool Box.” The hit reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
I hope you will not leave my prayers unanswered and will check back next week for another Triple Shot.
