Triple-Shot Tuesday Featuring Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney & Keith Urban

Well, we warned you early in the summer how fast the time would go by. Now everyone wants a little more summertime, but it’s now time for three of the saddest words for some kids but not so much for some parents – “back to school.”  Here are 3 songs about summer coming to an end – especially for anyone who found a summer love.

Brad Paisley’s “Beat This Summer” was released in March 2013 as the second single from his ninth studio album, “Wheelhouse.” Brad co-wrote the song with Chris DuBois and Luke Laird. It reached No. 9 on the Billboard US Hot Country chart. The video was filmed on the Santa Monica boardwalk and on Santa Monica Beach in California.

Kenny Chesney’s “Anything but Mine” was released in January 2005 as the fifth single from his 2004 album, “When the Sun Goes Down.” It reached No. 1 on the U.S. country chart and was written by Scooter Carusoe. The video was shot in Malibu, California and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Kenny and the band were filmed in Myrtle Beach at Family Kingdom Amusement Park.

Keith Urban’s “‘Til Summer Comes Around” was released in November 2009 as the fourth single from his album, “Defying Gravity.” Keith co-wrote the song with Monty Powell and it reached No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Like Brad’s “Beat This Summer,” the video was filmed in Santa Monica, California.

Check back next week for 3 songs about Labor Day and honoring the hard working men and women who make up this country.
