Performers Announced For Upcoming ‘CMT Music Awards’

The excitement is already building for the upcoming “CMT Music Awards” being held on June 8th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in conjunction with the annual “CMA Fest.” Performers were announced with the familiar line up of names. Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban were part of that recent announcement. The show will air live at 8p (ET).

Blake Shelton will be joined by Country Music Hall of Fame group The Oak Ridge Boys for a performance of “Doin’ It To A Country Song” from his current album, “If I’m Honest.” Keith Urban will be joined by tour mates Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris for a performance of his current single, “Wasted Time.”

This seems to be the “early round” announcement and I think more will be added. The “CMT Awards” are never short on surprises.
