Miranda Lambert’s “Me And Charlie Talkin” – Music Video Monday

A lot of Grammy buzz this year within country music and rightfully so.  Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the Grammys are more about content and quality as opposed to sales, chart topping and concert attendance.  There were strong contenders in the country album category consisting of Dierks Bentley, Brandy Clark, Eric Church, Lee Ann Womack and Miranda Lambert.  Very happy to see the gals included in this tough category.  So in honor of the Grammy going to Miranda Lambert for her album “Platinum” she is our Music Video Monday selection with back when it all pretty much started with  “Me And Charlie Talkin.”

Miranda Lambert started her singing song-writing career as a teen, taking her music around the local bars in Texas then catching her big break when she came in third on the show Nashville Start in 2003. That exposure landed her a record deal in Nashville with Epic Records. While with Epic she released “Me And Charlie Talkin,” and “Kerosene.”  After Epic closed down Miranda moved over to Columbia Records in Nashville and released “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “Famous In A Small Town,” and “Gunpowder Lead.”  Her third album, “Revolution” brought out another side of Miranda with her chart topping award winning hit, “House That Built Me.”

This young lady is a strong and solid song-writer, gives show stopping concerts and gives all she has to her craft, her fans and her family, which by the way includes many four-legged members.  Congrats again to Miranda Lambert on another solid album.  Keep up with her news and more at her website:  http://www.mirandalambert.com/
