Things get better on a daily basis for my beliefs in the Legends of Country. One of my all-time favorites, Alan Jackson announced he will embark on the “Honky Tonk Highway Tour” in 2017, along with the angelic voice of special guest Lee Ann Womack on select dates. ... read more!
Sometimes I think there isn’t much Toby Keith has not succeeded at. His tour of 2016 was remarkably similar to his 2015 tour. And the year before that. And the years preceding. 2015 was the year Toby was rightfully inducted into the national Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, the most meaningful honor of a career anchored in songwriting. RaeLynn seems to be coming into her own and learning how to properly use her voice, at least that’s what I hear when I listen to her new single, “Insecure”. ... read more!
Our Throwback Thursday Christmas Edition was inspired by a conversation I had with someone yesterday about the Christmas and holiday season. They said how much they like the good mood people are in and that they wish they could somehow bottle that up and have it throughout the year. I said that that reminds me of my favorite Christmas song by Travis Tritt! Travis wrote “Loving Time of the Year” and it appears on his 1992 album “A Travis Tritt Christmas: Loving Time of the Year.” ... read more!
