Remembering Opry Star George Hamilton IV

Grand Ole Opry star George Hamilton IV “The International Ambassador of Country Music” passed away late this afternoon at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. with his family by his side.  George IV suffered a serious heart attack last Saturday, September 13 and had been in critical condition.  Funeral arrangements are not confirmed at this time.  He had been an Opry member since February 1960 and was 77 years old.

Luke Bryan Continues to Rock his “That’s My Kind of Night” Tour

Country superstar Luke Bryan took his “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” to New York this past weekend, making his second appearance this year in Manhattan’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Friday night and Brooklyn’s Barclays Arena last night, selling out both concert stops.  Luke also played shows in Connecticut and New Hampshire, selling out both of those dates as well.
