Alan Jackson Keeps It Country In Los Angeles California — Concert Review

The Alan Jackson “Keepin’ it Country Tour” rolled into The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles Friday night, February 27th. It is a tour that celebrates Alan’s 25 years of well, keepin’ it country. It was 25 years ago to the day that his first album “Here in the Real World” was released. It is hard to believe just how much things have changed in the world and country music since then, but it was nice for one great evening to see and hear that some things have not changed that much.

Ray Scott Talks Career And Newly Released Single At Country Radio Seminar – CMM Video Interview

Ray Scott had a fantastic 2014 with the release of his self titled album, and 2015 is carrying over into being a phenomenal year. His continued success with the release of the lighthearted fun song “Drinkin’ Beer,” followed by his current soul-searching hit single, “Ain’t Always Thirsty,” brings to light what a master he is with his style and determination to do things the way he feels they need to be done. The singer song writer is not afraid to stretch the boundaries in his writing in the hopes he can have fans see the different places music can take them and where he has been.

CMM’s 50th Annual ACM Awards Predictions

Sunday April 19th is the 50th ACM Awards Show. The ACM’s were first held in 1966 at the Hollywood Palladium and were the first country music awards show from a major organization. They were first televised on ABC in 1972.

They have certainly come a long way since their humble beginnings. In 2003, they left the Universal Amphitheater in Hollywood for Las Vegas.   This year, they celebrate their 50th show by taking over the Dallas Cowboys’ home in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
